The Art of Sketchbook Keeping

Join Wheelhouse co-founder Grace Washko on Friday evenings for The Art of Sketchbook Keeping, guided drawing sessions that will teach you a variety of sketchbook-keeping techniques, including:

• Sketching

• Watercolor

• Gouche

• Mixed media

• Silverpoint

• Time studies

• Life studies

• Observational drawing

• Junk journaling

• Sketchbook games

• Stream of consciousness

• Storytelling through layout

Sessions will run from 6:30-8:00pm. The only thing you’ll need is a sketchbook — bring your own or purchase one in our retail space.

Join for one, or join for all! These creative workshops will give you opportunities to explore new art mediums, build your skill set over time, and develop a life-long appreciation and habit of keeping a sketchbook.

BYOB. Nonalcoholic drinks & chips will be provided for guests.

*Every Wheelhouse class has a minimum class size requirement. We do this to ensure proper compensation for our instructors and to foster the best learning environment for our students. After all creativity is at its best when shared between different voices! If the minimum class requirement is not met we reserve the right to cancel the class. In the event of cancelation all participants will be informed of class closure and issued a full refund.
