Create a pendant charm from upcycled ceramic plates/bowls

Join Stephanie Newman of Quoin Community Print Studio for a Lesson in Typesetting! Students will learn the basics of letterpress and how to set type. Students will create a one of a kind text based card or postcard. This is a 2 day workshop, occurring on both April 22nd and 29th.

Join us for an evening of Celebrating Earth and Environmentalism. First we will learn about photography and its role in the environmental movement. Then we will break for a craft session on creating Bee "Hotels" to help house native pollinators. Snacks and drinks will be served.

Join Textile artist Nick of Nebuluxe Art for a lesson in tapestry! This class will use a unique appliqué technique to simulate stained glass. With an assortment of precut batik fabric shapes, and an iron, we will create a one of a kind window hanging.

Join fine artist Whitney Hall as she teaches us to use charcoal painting techniques to "sculpt" birds. She'll walk us through how to use various charcoal tools to create a painterly bird on tonal paper. Students will discover how to observe and draw a bird of their very own.

Join us for a Mending Pop-up! We will have a group of local fabric artists ready to do clothing/accessory repair and artistic refreshment (including patches and pins).

April showers bring May flowers! Create your very own cone flower suncatcher. This beginner friendly stained glass class will walk through all the steps of the Tiffany/Copper Foil method. Please wear closed toed shoes to class.

Let’s get stitchy with it! Join Rachel Jackson of The Wild Wherever to learn how to hand embroider photos. This contemporary technique offers a new dimension and life to hand embroidery. Photos will be included, but students are encouraged to bring their own original printed photography.

Learn the basics of embroidery in this beginner friendly class. Join Rachel Jackson of The Wild Wherever to learn the basics of hand embroidery, and go home with your very own hand-stitched tea towel! You will learn how to set your hoop up, trace a pattern, and use a variety of stitches.

May 26th is Aaron Douglas' birthday. To celebrate, we will learn about Douglas' role in the Harlem Renaissance, his life as an art educator and visual artist.
