Tarot Altar

Students will make a handmade portable tarot layout wrap with their own items, found items, learning about symbols and applying them to create a small pocket altar for personal use.

Using mixed-media techniques, participants will design and handcraft their own portable personal altar/ cover a small, portable piece that can hold imagery, symbols, cards, intentions, affirmations, or other elements meaningful to you.

We’ll play with paper, fabric, stitching, collage, found materials, embellishments, and intuitive design as you create something uniquely your own. Use paint, symbolism, etc. sewing beads etc.

Come ready to experiment, layer, stitch, glue, and play.
