Artist Trading Card Club

Join our multidisciplinary instructor Red for an exploration in mixed-media expression through the medium of artist trading cards. We will experiment with scaling art for miniature compositions with a focus on travel art techniques. This workshop is designed to create community around the making and trading of small art pieces, students are encouraged to make and share work with each other building a collection of each others art!

Students will be painting images from photos. Students may bring images of nature, flowers, etc. to paint.

Paper, brushes, paint and other tools will be provided.

Students should expect to complete at least 2 mini paintings during the 2 hour workshop

*Every Wheelhouse class has a minimum class size requirement. We do this to ensure proper compensation for our instructors and to foster the best learning environment for our students. After all creativity is at its best when shared between different voices! If the minimum class requirement is not met we reserve the right to cancel the class. In the event of cancelation all participants will be informed of class closure and issued a full refund.
