Art of the Witch: Witchy Beads

Curious about the art of magic? In our new series Art of the Witch we will explore where art and personal practice meet.

We will start with one of the oldest protection magics: the talisman. Using basic slow stitch methods, common herbs, and personal trinkets, participants will build a personal witch bead. Throughout the class we will explore the history of amulets, the practical use of magical herbs, and how to add visual craft to your spiritual practice.

No previous sewing experience needed. Come ready to learn, experiment and create your own witch bead.

Students are encouraged to bring personal items or things that are small and tiny enough to fit on your amulet. 

*Every Wheelhouse class has a minimum class size requirement. We do this to ensure proper compensation for our instructors and to foster the best learning environment for our students. After all creativity is at its best when shared between different voices! If the minimum class requirement is not met we reserve the right to cancel the class. In the event of cancelation all participants will be informed of class closure and issued a full refund.
