Stained Glass 101

Learn how to cut, grind, foil and solder your own stained glass suncatcher

The copper foil method was made famous by Lewis Tiffany in the late 1800’s, but you don’t need a time machine to learn it! This class is the perfect introduction to stained glass.

  • How to cut, grind, foil and solder your very own stained glass tulip

  • How to use a ring saw and band saw

  • How to choose colors and textures of stained glass

What to Expect

Using a custom pattern created by your instructor, you will start by choosing glass colors. Then, [we’ll walk through the each step of the process, start to finish.]


At the end of the class, you'll leave with a completed work of art that you can proudly hang up or gift to a loved one!


All materials, tools and instruction are included. Please wear close toed shoes to class.


This class is designed with beginners in mind, and you'll have step-by-step guidance along the way to ensure you’re successful and having fun throughout the entire process.
